Thank you to the Blogger Babes for sending a complimentary copy of The Flower Chef.

Our county fair provided an opportunity for those who wanted to practice their floral arrangement skills.  It was open to all age groups from kids to adults.

The Flower Chef: A Modern Guide to Do-It-Yourself Floral Arrangements by Carly Cylinder

In both elementary and middle school I was lucky enough that my Mom humored me and let me enter each year.  She’d drive me all over to collect wildflowers, and we’d prune select buds from both our own and my Grandmother’s yards and gardens. Continue reading »

I don’t recall seeing the first Alvin & the Chipmunks live(ish?) action movie, but I have watched the cartoon from time to time.  And who hasn’t heard the Chipmunks Christmas song, right?

Alvin & the Chipmunks: Road Chip movie review

I’m normally up for watching just about anything, though, so when our friends at Entenmann’s Little Bites offered to provide us with a digital download code for Alvin & the Chipmunks: Road Chip I was definitely game.  Even better, they were sending a couple boxes of Entenmann’s Little Bites Chocolate Chip-Munk Muffins for us to enjoy while we watched. Marve's Ant-Man starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, now on Digital Download & DVD

Let’s talk about all the reasons Ant-Man is a Marvel movie not to miss. Continue reading »

I’ve been excited to see Jurassic World since I first heard it was being made.  I still remember watching the first Jurassic Park movie when it came out and being entirely in awe when those first dinosaurs came into view as they rolled up in the little Jeeps.

Of course after my Chris Pratt interview awhile back, I was looking forward to seeing him in another role.  I had really wanted to see it in theaters but I was afraid that even though she wanted to see it, it may be too overwhelming and scary for Bubbles.  And with Ashley in Indy teaching and Austin away doing his Army training, our babysitting options are a bit limited at the moment. In my opinion the music of Disney, whether it be from the movies or their shows or the parks, is one of the greatest parts of Disney’s magic.  So when I was offered an advance copy of the new We Love Disney album I jumped at the chance to give it a listen.

The new We Love Disney album 2015 has some of your favorite Disney songs performed by today's hottest artists across all genres!

It’s such a fun album!  It’s got some of your favorite classic Disney songs – like “Can You Feel the Love Tonight?” and “It’s A Small World” – as well as some newer hits, and even songs you might not be that familiar with.  And they’re all sung by some of today’s hottest artists across all genres.
