In case you missed yesterday’s post, we are focusing on dinosaur fun around here this week. We kicked off with a dino-themed dessert recipe, and for our second day of all things dino, I planned a DIY activity – Jurassic Fossil Dough.

Jurassic Fossil Dough recipe - this easy dough recipe is perfect for creating dinosaur fossils, letting kids dig for buried treasure, and more!

One thing I love about this fossil dough recipe is that it requires only three kid-safe ingredients – flour, salt, and brewed coffee with the grounds. Make a little extra coffee and enjoy a cup for yourself while you watch the kiddos play. Continue reading »

Spring showed itself here recently, with lots of sun and a few warm days.  It’s really put Bubbles and I in the mood for fun spring crafts.  So we went through my craft supplies and decided to make some clothespin crafts.

These clothespin crafts are a fun and easy kids craft. Check out how to make these cute dragonfly and caterpillar clothespin critters!

Bubbles loves any project that calls for googly eyes so we decided to make some clothespin dragonflies and clothespin caterpillars.  We had so much fun with them that next on our list will be some clothespin butterflies, too. Continue reading »

Green & Gold DIY Slime for St. Patrick's Day - Great gift or easy craft for kids!

We could use a little de-stressing around here, since everyone’s been sick on and off for the last couple of months.  That means we’re also a little behind on our crafting which is something Bubbles and I love to do together. Continue reading »

It’s always fun to take a little time at the start of the year to reflect on the one previous.  Part of that process for me is to take a look at all the posts from the last year to see what you really found useful.

Top 10 Posts of 2016 from Views From the 'Ville - recipes, DIY projects, home makeover ideas & more

My goal each time I write something is to hopefully provide you with an actionable idea or project.  A recipe you can make for your family, a DIY project you can recreate, or an activity that your family can enjoy together.  I love when you take the time to leave me comments so I know exactly which of these you’re loving.
