Bubbles is very excited about Halloween this year. We spent at least two full hours in various stores checking out Halloween accessories and costumes, looking for just the right one. And this past weekend we dug out all our fall and Halloween decorations so we’d have a little time to enjoy them before the 31st.
After much deliberation she chose a Dino Charge Pink Power Ranger costume. I really thought either a Shimmer & Shine costume (Shimmer more than Shine) or Skye from Paw Patrol would win out. Turns out the combination of pink and dinosaurs, two of her current favorites, was just too good to pass up.
If you’re still choosing a costume or looking for a few last minute Halloween accessories, here are a few things that might make your night perfect. I’ve included a few affiliate links to help you track down some of the items.

And if your kiddos are PJ Masks fans, these DIY PJ Masks costumes use items you probably have at home right now.
Halloween Accessories
- As I mentioned, Bubbles almost chose to be Skye from Paw Patrol. I know there will be a lot of Marshall, Zuma, Skye, Everest, Rubble, and Chase costumes out there this year. These light up Paw Patrol collars are a great way to top off your costume, and the light should help make you more visible in the dark.
- If you don’t want to don a full costume a quick makeover with make up stix or a zombie makeup set can still let you get in on the Halloween fun. A set of butterfly wings, some fake blood, or a dripping blood choker can add the easy finishing touches.
- Get killer Halloween hair for your littles – or get all that coloring and glitter out the next day – with Fresh Monster hair care products. The 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner and Hair Detangler get used in our house frequently.
