This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPS for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

The holidays are all about wishes.  Some of them are tangible, like a specific gift you’re hoping to receive.  And others are more abstract, like peace on Earth and goodwill to men.

Bubbles and Santa at the Mall

The older I get – and especially since having a child – I find that my wishes fall into the latter category more often than not.  I wish to see her eyes light up during the holidays, for her to experience happiness, and for the memories we make to be with her always.  It’s a wish I share for all my family and friends.

My Gram and her Christmas decorations

This year that wish especially encircles my Mom and Aunt.  Their holidays have always revolved around my Gram – her baking, the wreaths she made for everyone, parties together.  As this is the first December without her I know they’re struggling a little with those small moments that she would normally be part of.

Wishes Delivered

Your Love Delivered - #WishesDelivered

My main wish for them would be for the entire extended family to be able to travel home to celebrate together.  While it wouldn’t make it possible for my Gram to be there, her spirit would certainly be felt, I’m sure.

Your Story Delivered - #WishesDelivered

This year as UPS delivers your packages they’re also delivering a little something extra: holiday cheer.  Now through December 31st will donate $1 for each wish you share on Twitter or Instagram.  The money will go to one of their charity partners, up to $100,000 in total donations.

Your Winter Wishes Delivered - #WishesDelivered

Head over to Twitter or Instagram and share your wish for others using the campaign hashtag #WishesDelivered and it will automatically be submitted.  You can also go directly to the #WishesDelivered site and manually submit there.  Remember to share a meaningful wish for someone else, and share as many as you’d like.

You may have already caught UPS granting some wishes this year.  The video of the little boy who gets to be UPS driver for a day has been all over social media; it’s absolutely adorable.  Check out the video above of another wish being delivered by UPS.

What wish will you make this year?
