When I was younger a meet & greet with Santa was always an exciting day. Outside of that, though, there wasn’t much chance to have interaction with the Big Guy. As I got a little older, letters from him started showing up in the mail during the month of December which definitely helped build the anticipation.
For kids today, though, there are even more magical options. Recently I was introduced to Portable North Pole and their awe-inspiring personalized Santa videos. So when they offered to provide me a pass to the site and partner on a post so I could share my experience with you, I was excited to see exactly how the process worked.
There are both free (yes, free!) and paid options. If you go the free route, you can upload 2 photos and the video will last for 3 minutes. If you choose the paid video you’ll get to choose from three story lines, be able to upload 5 photos and the video will run for 5 minutes.
Santa videos are not the only cool thing available on the Portable North Pole site. You can also schedule personalized calls from Santa (ours is set for Christmas Eve), download free printable coloring sheets, and more. There’s also a mobile app so you can take the magic with you on the go (which I think is awesome for those who travel during the holidays).
If you do select the paid options from the Portable North Pole site be sure to use my special promo code for you! Entering BLG20BKP will take 20% off. Plus you can feel good about your purchase, as 5% of web sales are donated to children’s hospitals in your region (last year they donated $75,000 to charity).
Bubbles loved her Santa video yet. We went to visit him at the mall on Monday and I let the excitement build for a few days before I showed her. There was a huge grin on her face the entire time she watched and she loved pointing out when she saw her name or picture.. Now I can’t wait for her reaction to her Christmas Eve call.
This sounds like a cute idea. I bet kids would really enjoy this!
Oh my What little kid wouldn’t lose their minds over this. Mine would
This will be putting smiles on plenty of kids faces this year. What a great idea to help get them in the spirit and possibly keep their behavior in check. It’s a little more convincing than me saying Santa is watching you.
Oh my gosh! How fun! My 2 and 4 year olds are going to love this! I love that they have a free option so that everyone can enjoy it!
That’s such a great present for the kids. I would have loved to be able to hear personally from Santa when I was that age!
