This DIY coffee creamer bottle snowman post is sponsored by TapInfluence. All words and opinions are my own.

The other day I was pouring a little of the seasonal International Delight Sugar Cookie coffee creamer into my afternoon coffee, and I heard Bubbles singing in the other room.  As the words “Do you want to build a snowman?” drifted my way, I looked down at the coffee creamer bottle in my hand and realized – yes, yes I did.  I wanted to build a snowman.

DIY Marshmallow Dispenser: Coffee Creamer Bottle Snowman

The shape of a plastic coffee creamer bottle lends itself perfectly to being transformed into a snowman.  And because after you peel the label off they’re already kind of a milky-white color, there’s not a lot of work that needs to be done.  This is literally one of the easiest DIY projects you’ll ever try, but the results are down-right adorable.

You’ll need a handful of supplies to create your DIY snowman marshmallow dispenser and you probably already have most, if not all, of them around your house.  All you will need is:

  • Empty International Delight liquid coffee creamer bottle
  • Black permanent marker
  • Orange permanent marker
  • Ribbon or felt
  • Scissors
  • Glue dots or other glue
  • Mini marshmallows

Peel the label off your empty creamer bottle, then wash and dry thoroughly.  Fill the bottle with mini marshmallows and replace the cap.  Tie a strip of ribbon or felt around the snowman’s “neck” and use a glue dot to tack it into place.  Use the orange marker to draw on a carrot nose, then the black marker to add the eyes, mouth, and buttons.  And… you’re done.

Seriously, easy projects like this are some of my favorites these days.  When you have a preschooler who wants to have a hand in whatever you’re doing, easy lets them help.  Plus you can mass-produce these easily, so you could do this as a group craft during a playdate, a mom’s gathering, whatever.

I filled this one with mini marshmallows; you could pair it with some hot chocolate (homemade or store-bought) and some candy canes to use as stirrers.  But a fun twist on this would be to leave the creamer in it, and give it with a bag of coffee (or box of cups or pods).  Just be sure to tell your recipient which creamer you chose for them.  I love the seasonal creamers: Sugar Cookie, Gingerbread Latte, Peppermint Chocolate Truffle, and White Chocolate Raspberry.
