I participated in the Train Bulletproof Picasso album review program as a member of One2One Network. I was provided a free album to review but all opinions are my own.

Anytime I’m provided with the opportunity to review an album, I almost always accept it. It’s hard to say no to great tunes, especially when it’s a group like Train.

Train is a three-time Grammy winning band out of San Francisco and even if you think you haven’t heard of them, it’s likely that a few of their lyrics are floating around in your head. “Hey, Soul Sister”, “Drops of Jupiter”, and “Calling All Angels” are a few of the songs they’re most known for (and happen to be a few of my own personal favorites).

Their newest release – Bulletproof Picasso – will release on September 16th.  It’s already available for pre-order on Amazon and iTunes and if you’re a Train fan, you’ll definitely want to get your order in now.

I’ve been listening to the album for about a week now, and I’ve definitely chose a few top picks.  “Don’t Grow Up So Fast” is on that list; as a Mom who doesn’t want her daughter growing up too fast, either, I can really relate.  The album’s namesake, Bulletproof Picasso, is also on my list.  I just really like the overall sound of the song.

You may have already heard “Angel in Blue Jeans” as it’s the album’s first single and was released a short while ago.  It climbed to the Top 40 in under a month!  “Wonder What You’re Doing for the Rest of Your Life” is a fun song that’s really catchy, and I expect it to do really well, also.

Full track listing includes:

Cadillac, Cadillac
Bulletproof Picasso
Angel in Blue Jeans
Give It All
Wonder What You’re Doing for the Rest of Your Life
Son of a Prison Guard
Just a Memory
I’m Drinkin’ Tonight
I Will Remember
The Bridge
Baby, Happy Birthday
Don’t Grow Up So Fast

Train band members include Pat Monahan (vocals), Jimmy Stafford (lead guitar), Jerry Becker (rhythm guitar and piano), Hector Maldonado (bass), and Drew Shoals (drums) and they will be performing live on QVC at 5 p.m. EST today, September 5th.  If you miss them, you can check out the video for Bulletproof Picasso and four other songs below.

Which Bulletproof Picasso song do you think will be your favorite?
