Our family really enjoys music. Most any time of day music is being played on a phone or laptop, or even through the television using one of our gaming consoles. There’s often live music, also, as Ashley and Austin both still play guitar, drums and keyboard regularly.
During the holidays, though, there are even more occasions to play music. We like to have it as a backdrop while decorating the Christmas tree, have songs to sing while we bake cookies or make Christmas dinner, and to be able to have playing softly in the background when we’re entertaining. And of course joyful tunes to play on Christmas morning!
A Color for Every Room
The newest addition to the Soundfreaq product line is quickly becoming our favorite speaker. The wireless Soundfreaq Sound Spot is a portable speaker that’s designed to compliment your home decor. In addition to black and white/wood, it comes in a 11 color combinations so you’re likely to find something that matches not only your home but your personality.
For example, my husband and I prefer the all-black Sound Spot. It’s sleek and matches the rest of our electronics. But we think Ashley will love the white and wood combo. It’s a little more funky and youthful – just like her.
The Soundfreaq Sound Spot is incredibly easy to use. Charge the Sound Spot with the included USB cord and then place it wherever you want to play your tunes. Turn on a Bluetooth wireless enabled device, like your phone or PC, and find the Soundfreaq speaker. Then you can stream whatever music is on the device – or even play from YouTube or other services!
Portable, Clear & Easy to Use
The wireless feature is definitely one of my favorite features. We can move it easily to wherever we need it at the moment: my office while I’m working, the family room while we decorate the tree, the dining area for meals, even Bubbles’ bedroom while she naps. And no matter where I am I can control it with whatever device I’m linked to or using the buttons on the top of the Sound Spot.
The sound quality is impressive, too. My husband was immediately impressed with both the volume and clarity that came out of something so compact. If you heard it before you saw it you wouldn’t know it was a portable speaker.
If you’re looking for a stylish home accessory that is capable of providing great sound in a variety of locations, then this is it. It also makes an excellent gift idea. I can’t wait to see the use Ashley gets out of hers in her new apartment!

I like what a small footprint the speaker leaves. I actually just read in a magazine this morning about using a small speaker like this and piping in low music to your bathroom when you have guests… I thought that was a neat idea!

Wow, this sounds incredible. I am in the market for something just like this. I love the color options, so many nice ones to choose from. This would be awesome in a few rooms!
We love our Sound Spots. They look really nice just about anywhere you want to stick them. I hardly even notice ours since they blend right in with our decor. I love that they can last a long time in between battery charges and are easy to take from room to room.
