This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Rubbermaid Bento Organizers but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #HolidayBento http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.
Are you done your holiday shopping yet? Not me! I feel so behind this year, because normally right about now I’m just crossing a stocking stuffer or two off my list to finish up, but this year I’m not even 50% done.
I found myself shopping at Target the other day, trying to knock a few things off of Ashley’s wish list. She’s already secured a teaching job, so after graduation in the spring, she’ll be moving a few hours away where she’ll have her very first apartment. Target gift cards were on her list as she knows they carry lots of great items for home decoration and storage plus items to stock her kitchen.
While wandering around the home department I came across the Rubbermaid Bento Organizers. I was immediately drawn to their design; we have a chair with a similar pattern. After taking a few minutes to examine them more closely, I was also impressed with the actual construction. The interior pockets flex to accommodate the items, letting you create just the right size and shape compartments for what you’re storing.
For Christmas each year I usually give Ashley a big box of toiletries to take back to campus. Looking at the bento organizers with all those internal pockets gave me a new idea, though. Gift baskets!
They’re the perfect size for holding the odds and ends I picked up to give her to kick off life in her new apartment: lotion, pop-up umbrella, oral care items, sugar-free candies, boxes of tea, deodorant, razors, inserts for her shoes (teachers stand on their feet a lot!), jewelry and more.
The dividers were perfect for holding everything in place. And after the items are removed she’ll be able to use them to keep clutter controlled in her new apartment. It’s a gift inside of a gift!
The Rubbermaid Bento Organizers also have optional trays that you can purchase. They fit on top of the organizers to keep everything inside out of sight, while adding additional storage on top. Great for stacking, too!
I also picked up a couple for myself. While I do have a home office, I often spend most of my time working from a chair in the living room to be near my family. The tabletop next to my chair can get a little out of control with to-do lists, business cards, notes, etc. Not really something I want my drop-in holiday guests to see! Fortunately my new Rubbermaid Bento Organizers are keeping my impromptu “desk” nice and neat.

This is such a smart way to package a gift. I’m a teacher and use containers like this in my class for EVERYTHING. She will love it!
I love how it doesn’t have the ugly-storage-bin look! It looks really nice, and is a great way to declutter!
These look wonderful! I’d love one to organize my make-up. I love the care package you put together for apartment living. Very creative!
