African Chicken with Couscous

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 T fresh chopped ginger
  • 2 T paprika
  • 1 T honey
  • 1 T diced garlic
  • 4 T lime juice
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, sliced
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients except for the chicken. Mix well.
  2. Optional: reserve a small amount of the marinade to baste chicken.
  3. Add chicken to marinade and refrigerate (as long as you can, overnight is best).
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook until chicken is slightly blackened and warm through.
  5. Serve over couscous or other side of your choice.
