Crunchy Chocolate Almond Cereal Bars
 
Ingredients
  • ¼ C butter
  • ¼ C brown sugar
  • ¼ C honey
  • ¼ C peanut butter
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • 2 C Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolatey Almond Crunch cereal
  • 1 C pretzel pieces
Instructions
  1. Line an 8x8 pan with foil or parchment paper, allowing for overhang around the edges.
  2. Mix cereal and pretzels in a large bowl; set aside.
  3. Combine butter, sugar, honey, vanilla and peanut butter in a small saucepan. Cook over medium, stirring frequently, until bubbly; cook additional 2 minutes.
  4. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring to coat.
  5. Spread mixture into prepared pan, pressing to ensure it's even.
  6. Chill bars in fridge until cool. Use edges of foil or parchment paper to lift bars from pan and cut into bars.
  7. Store uneaten bars in a container in the fridge.
