Ingredients
  • 1 9" pie crust (refrigerated or scratch)
  • ½ C butter, room temperature
  • 1 C sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • ½ C flour
  • 2 T vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 C chopped pecans
  • 1 C chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Spray pie plate with cooking spray.
  2. Unroll pie crust and place in pie plate. Prick the bottom multiple times with a fork to prevent bubbling.
  3. Bake pie crust at 450 for 10 minutes.
  4. Let cool.
  5. Meanwhile, in the bowl of a stand mixer (or with a hand mixer), cream together butter and sugar.
  6. Add in flour, vanilla, and salt; mix well.
  7. Add in eggs; mix on low until fully incorporated.
  8. Fold in pecans and chocolate chips.
  9. Preheat oven to 350.
  10. Pour filling into prepared pie crust. Bake 30-35 minutes, until the middle has set.
