Cornbread Recipe

- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 T baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- ⅓ cup oil
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- pinch of salt
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Place all the dry ingredients to a large bowl.
- Add in the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a baking pan lightly coated with cooking spray (I use an 8x8 or 9x9 pan).
- Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown on the edges.
